What you'll be doing
As a Registered Nurse within the Endoscopy Unit, you will provide safe, evidence based and person centred care while supporting patients and families throughout their healthcare journey. You will play an important role in coordinating care, responding to changing patient needs and contributing to a positive team culture.
- Deliver high quality nursing care tailored to individual patient needs
- Monitor, assess and respond effectively to changing patient conditions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient outcomes
- Provide education, guidance and supervision to staff and students

Selection Criteria
Current nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA)
Significant post graduate experience in an acute hospital. Recent experience in Endoscopy or Perioperative Services (Scrub, Scout, Anaesthetics, PACU & DPU) nursing preferable.
Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work
Demonstrated effective communication skills- written and verbal
Effective interpersonal skills showing initiative and leadership to junior members of the team
Evidence of participation in own professional development and commitment to maintaining competence and enhancement of skills, and willingness to apply and share professional expertise with colleagues
Experience with Provation or SurgiNet IT applications preferable
