Bike Mechanic & Fleet Maintenance Team Member (Part-Time)

Peddle Perth is on the lookout for a mechanically minded legend to help keep Perth's favourite fleet rolling.
We're not your average workshop. Every bike you work on helps create unforgettable experiences for thousands of locals and tourists each year. If you're someone who enjoys getting stuck in, takes pride in your work, and likes solving problems, we'd love to meet you.
This is a part-time position (15–30 hours per week) based at our Perth City warehouse, with the opportunity for additional hours, as well as stepping into a full-time maintenance manager position for the right candidate.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll be the person keeping our fleet road-ready by:
- Servicing, repairing and maintaining our fleet of bicycles.
- Diagnosing and fixing mechanical issues.
- Completing routine safety checks and preventative maintenance.
- Ensuring every bike is in top condition and ready to hit the road.
- Occasionally transporting bikes and equipment to locations around Perth using a trailer.
- Managing bike wraps, advertising decals and sticker applications.
- Keeping the workshop clean, organised and running efficiently.
- Monitoring maintenance stock levels and ordering supplies when needed.
- Helping improve workshop systems and contributing ideas along the way.
What We're Looking For
You don't need to know everything—we can teach you our systems—but you do need to bring the right attitude.
You'll have:
- Any knowledge of bicycle mechanics.
- Hands-on ability and mechanically minded thinking.
- A current Australian driver's licence with a clear driving history.
- Confidence driving and manoeuvring a trailer (car & trailer provided).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Weekend availability when required.
Bonus Points If You Have
- Welding and fabrication experience.
- Experience maintaining commercial or high-use bicycle fleets.
