About the Role
As a Shift Leader, you'll be responsible for supporting the Venue Manager with the day to day operations of the restaurant while leading by example on the floor. You'll motivate the team, maintain high operational standards, and create an environment where both our guests and team members thrive.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the team during shifts to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Ensure smooth daily operations by coordinating workflow and supporting team members.
- Deliver an outstanding guest experience by greeting customers, resolving issues, and creating an "awesome vibe."
- Ensure all food safety, hygiene, and quality standards are consistently met.
- Maintain strong knowledge of our menu, seasonal products, and dietary requirements.
- Operate the POS system, process payments, and manage cash handling procedures.
- Complete opening and closing procedures and ensure the venue is clean, organised, and well stocked.
- Assist with staff training, coaching, and onboarding new team members.
- Monitor team performance and provide ongoing support and feedback.
- Support stock management, inventory control, and minimise waste.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and workplace health and safety standards.
About You
- Previous experience in a hospitality leadership role such as Shift Leader, Supervisor, or Team Leader.
- Experience working in a fast paced café, restaurant, or quick-service environment.
- A natural leader who enjoys motivating and developing others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure.
- High standards of personal presentation and attention to detail.
- Sound understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Flexible availability, including weekdays, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- A hands-on approach with a willingness to jump in wherever needed.

Pay: $29.91 – $44.87 per hour
