This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified civil engineer looking to utilize their knowledge and skills in the commercial building and construction industry.
Working alongside other experienced civil engineers and leaders, you'll be involved in a diverse range of projects including education, aged care, retail and local government.
You'll work as part of a collaborative team, contributing to projects from design to construction while continuing to develop your technical and stakeholder management skills.
Key responsibilities of the role will include:
· Civil design and construction support across various commercial building projects
- Supporting the delivery of projects as a valued team member
- Preparation of technical reports, value engineering and design documentation as required
- Stakeholder management (both upstream and downstream)
- Supporting coordination of subcontractors, project forecasting and financial management
- Procurement of packages for the project as required
- Working collaboratively with project design and project delivery teams
To be considered for this role you will need:
- Civil Engineering degree
- 3+ years' experience in the building and construction industry
- Civil design and project delivery experience
- Excellent eye for detail
- Ability to solve problems
- Report writing skills
- Good communication and relationship-building skills
