Job Description
About Us
Awarded the 2025 Australian Dentistry Awards Practice of the Year, Dr Daniel Tan & Associates (DDTA) in Launceston sets a new benchmark for holistic health and integrated patient care.
Operating from a luxury, state-of-the-art 6-chair facility, DDTA bridges the connection between oral health, skin vitality, and overall body wellness. Our unique model incorporates comprehensive dental care, an in-house dental laboratory, dermal therapy, and innovative longevity modalities (including hyperbaric oxygen, red light therapy, and IV vitamin therapy).
As a QIP-accredited practice and recipient of the MELAG Hygiene Partner Award, we pride ourselves on maintaining the absolute highest standards of infection control, clinical safety, and patient-centered excellence in Australia.
What You Will Be Doing
- Conduct thorough dental examinations, diagnose oral health conditions, and formulate tailored, evidence-based treatment plans.
- Provide a comprehensive range of general, restorative, cosmetic, and preventive dental treatments in line with Dental Board of Australia requirements.
- Work collaboratively with our in-house dental laboratory technicians to deliver fast, highly precise prosthetics and restorations.
- Educate, empower, and engage patients through a holistic, patient-first approach to oral and long-term health.
- Refer complex cases internally to specialist clinicians and allied health partners where clinically appropriate.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and fully compliant clinical records.
- Contribute to a warm, high-performing practice culture alongside a collaborative team of clinicians, therapists, and support staff.
What We Are Looking For (About You)
Above all else, we are looking for a genuinely nice human being — an ethical, empathetic, and patient-focused clinician who fits seamlessly into our warm and supportive team environment.
- Experience: Open to dentists at any stage of their career — whether you are a high-performing clinician looking for an elite practice environment or a early-career dentist seeking an exceptional environment to learn and grow.

- Mindset: Collaborative, open-minded, adaptable, and eager to deliver a modern, integrated healthcare experience.
- Communication: Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to connect authentically with patients and colleagues alike.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Current unrestricted AHPRA Registration as a Dentist.
