- Plan and prepare Indonesian menu items
- Essential Indonesian cuisine experience required
- Order ingredients and manage stock levels
- Cook and present food to a high standard
- Minimum 1-2 years commercial cooking experience required
- Supervise kitchen staff and train them in cooking techniques
- 1-2 years supervision experience required for staff management
- Prepare dishes such as rice, sambal, meats, skewers, and Indonesian specialties (e.g. Siomay, Bakso)
- Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are followed
- Current food safety certification must be held prior to commencement
- Set up kitchen before service and ensure it is ready
- Maintain kitchen equipment and cleanliness
- Organise workflow to ensure smooth service
- Store food properly and manage leftovers
- Oversee kitchen closing and cleaning procedures
- Report any food-related issues to management
- Assist with other tasks as required
- Valid Australian work visa required at time of application
- Diploma Hospitality Management is a must
Pay: $70,000.00 – $85,258.49 per year
