Apprentice Spray Painter – Join Our Team
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Spray Painter to join our busy workshop. This is an excellent opportunity to begin a career in the automotive refinishing industry while learning from experienced tradespeople and gaining hands-on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with preparing vehicle panels for painting, including sanding, masking and priming.
- Learn paint mixing, colour matching and refinishing techniques.
- Assist qualified Spray Painters with vehicle refinishing.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures.
- Work as part of the team while developing your skills throughout your apprenticeship.
What We're Looking For:
- A genuine interest in the automotive repair industry.
- A willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual and motivated.
- Current driver's licence (preferred but not essential).
Apprentice wages will be paid in accordance with the applicable award and apprenticeship year. The shown hourly rate is for a level 1 trade qualified employee
Pay: From $25.74 per hour
