Madison Tower Mill Hotel Brisbane is looking for experienced hotel staff in the following department:
We are a 70 room Hotel in Spring Hill with pub style restaurant, bar, and gaming.
Front Office - Receptionist
To be considered for this role you should fulfil the following criteria:
- Have a positive attitude, friendly nature, and true passion for customer service (essential qualities of the successful candidate)
- Previous reception/administration experience, preferably in a hotel or customer service-based role
- Great communication skills (verbal and written)
- Must have high standards of personal presentation and grooming
- Experience using hotel reservation software (preferred but not essential as training will be provided). We use RMS Cloud.
- Proficient using computer-based applications such as Outlook and Microsoft Office
- Eftpos and cash handling experience
- Must show attention to detail
- The ability to work unsupervised, solve problems and handle pressured situations - most times you will be solo.
- The ability and flexibility to work various rostered shifts
We are looking for friendly and vibrant individuals, who are honest, reliable, and flexible, to fulfil this role.
In return we offer a fun, safe and supportive work environment, and industry award rates (Hospitality Industry General Award). Our shifts are generally 5 hours each (7-12pm, 12pm-5pm, 5pm-10pm) and staff are able to get around 20 hours a week.
Reception open 7am to 10pm daily.
