About the Role
We are seeking compassionate and reliable Casual Social Support Workers to assist older clients in community-based social support settings.
This is a non-clinical role focused on companionship, community participation, and social engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and social support
- Support community, social, and recreational participation
- Accompany clients to appointments, shopping, and outings
- Assist with basic digital support and online connection
- Encourage independence, dignity, and confidence
- Maintain professional boundaries and follow support arrangements
Requirements
- Right to work in Australia (Required)
- Current National Police Check or willingness to obtain one (Required)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable and professional attitude
- Ability to travel to clients across Perth
- Certificate III in Individual Support, Community Services, or similar qualification (Preferred)
- Applicants without qualifications must have at least 1 year of relevant Australian support experience
- Current First Aid & CPR Certification (Preferred)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (Preferred)
