About the role
We're seeking a Governance & Risk Analyst to join our growing Governance & Risk team. This newly created role offers the opportunity to help shape and mature governance, risk and assurance practices across Enerven while partnering closely with leaders across the business.
Day to day you will:
- Facilitate risk workshops and support risk reviews across projects and business functions.
- Support project governance and assurance activities, including project stage-gate reviews.
- Prepare clear, insightful reporting and recommendations for senior leaders and stakeholders.
- Monitor and maintain risk registers, ensuring risks, controls and actions remain current and effective.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen governance frameworks, policies and processes.
- Conduct assurance reviews and support continuous improvement initiatives across the business.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders to embed practical governance and risk management practices.
About you
You enjoy bringing structure to complexity and can confidently engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation. You take a pragmatic approach to governance and risk, balancing compliance requirements with commercial and operational outcomes. Comfortable working independently, you enjoy influencing stakeholders, driving improvement and helping shape a function that continues to evolve.
You will bring:
- Experience in governance, risk, assurance, audit, compliance or project governance environments.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
- Experience preparing reports, insights and recommendations for leadership teams.
- The ability to analyse information, identify key risks and communicate clear outcomes.
- Experience facilitating workshops, reviews or business improvement activities.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Finance, Project Management, Law or a related discipline.
