DHM’s mailroom processes up to 250,000 mail articles each month, working closely with Australia Post and Pitney Bowes, to reduce costs and improve efficiency. Main mailroom responsibilities include:
- Printing all invoices, reminders, pathology reports and notifications to all National Bowel Screen participants (Government clearance required for the latter).
- Managing all incoming and outgoing mail
- Managing the stock of envelopes, inserts and paper
- Managing Relay Pitney Bowes Inserters, Postage Meter and Ricoh printer
When available, the candidate will be trained to assist Client Database staff with their duties and will have experience working in a high-volume mail environment. The candidate will be expected to demonstrate and discuss their experience (preferably) or strengths in the following areas.

- Efficiency
- Logical thinking
- Working unsupervised and in teams
On-the-job training will be provided for all relevant procedures, however, any previous exposure to working with production printers or mail insertion machines would be an advantage.
