We have a newly created role for an Agentic Engineer within the Technology Engineering team.
This is hands-on designing, building, testing, and supporting practical agentic AI capabilities to improve engineering productivity, software quality, automation, and delivery effectiveness.
The role applies strong software engineering discipline across the .NET stack, Azure, APIs, automated testing, CI/CD, observability, and secure enterprise integration.
You will:
Combine strong .NET engineering foundations with practical experience in large language models, agentic workflows, retrieval-augmented generation, secure tool integration, APIs, cloud services, automated testing, evaluation, observability, and modern delivery practices.
Work closely with engineering squads and technology stakeholders, to define best practices, drive uptake of AI within the engineering team, and bring enthusiasm for applying AI safely and effectively in an enterprise environment.
Experience with Azure, Azure DevOps, Playwright, unit and integration testing frameworks, and Azure AI capabilities is highly regarded.
What you bring:
Strong software engineering foundations with practical experience building reliable, maintainable applications and integrations using the .NET stack.
Practical experience or a strong interest in large language models, AI agents, retrieval-augmented generation, prompt and context engineering, MCP-enabled tool use, reusable skills, agentic coding assistants, AI-assisted testing practices, and automated testing frameworks such as Playwright, MSTest, NUnit, or xUnit.
A strong security, privacy, and governance mindset, with the ability to balance innovation with responsible risk management.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to make AI engineering concepts practical, accessible, and trusted within engineering teams and the broader enterprise environment.
A continuous improvement mindset with a focus on measurable business value, safe adoption, reliability, observability, and learning through experimentation.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
