We are seeking a motivated Civil Engineer with 3+ years of experience to join our Geelong Civil Engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to further develop their technical design skills while working on a diverse range of land development and subdivision projects. Working alongside experienced engineers and multidisciplinary teams, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality outcomes for our clients.
In this role, you will:
- Contribute to the design and delivery of land development and subdivision projects.
- Prepare civil engineering designs, drawings and documentation using industry-standard software.
- Work closely with senior engineers, project managers and clients to deliver projects on time and to a high standard.
- Assist in resolving technical design challenges and coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Liaise with local authorities, service authorities and other consultants throughout project delivery.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the business on a variety of exciting projects.
- Continue developing your technical and professional skills within a supportive and collaborative environment.
You are a motivated Civil Engineer with 3+ years of experience in civil design, ideally within land development or subdivision projects. You enjoy solving technical challenges, collaborating with others and are keen to continue developing your skills in a supportive environment. You will bring:
- A degree qualification in Civil Engineering with 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Experience working on land development, subdivision or civil infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and 12d (or a willingness to further develop your skills).
- A solid understanding of Victorian engineering standards, authority requirements and design practices.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients, colleagues and stakeholders.
- A proactive attitude, strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
- The ability to manage your workload across multiple projects while working collaboratively within a team.
- Progress towards, or an interest in obtaining, Chartered or Registered Professional Engineer status (desirable but not essential).
