Motor Mechanic (General) – Full-Time

About the Business
AARC is an established automotive service and repair business based in South Australia, providing servicing, diagnostics, maintenance, and repair solutions for a broad range of passenger and commercial vehicles. Due to increasing operational demands and continued business growth, we are seeking a qualified and experienced Motor Mechanic to join our team on a full-time basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a range of vehicles
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic tools and testing equipment
- Repair or replace worn and defective vehicle components
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance
- Complete road tests and quality checks following repairs
- Maintain accurate job cards and service records
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with manufacturer guidelines
- Assist in maintaining workshop cleanliness and equipment standards
Skills and Experience Required
- Relevant qualification equivalent to an Australian Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or higher
- 1-2 years of relevant post-qualification work experience as a Motor Mechanic
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities
- Experience working on a range of vehicle makes and models
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
