About the Role
As the Site Manager, you will:
- Manage all aspects of site operations from establishment through to practical completion and defect rectification
- Lead site safety and ensure full compliance with WHS legislation and company standards
- Maintain a thorough understanding of project scope, programme and contractual requirements
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers and site personnel
- Work closely with the Project Manager and Construction Manager to ensure programme, quality and commercial outcomes are achieved
- Maintain accurate site records, reporting and project documentation
- Manage defect identification and close-out
- Lead toolbox talks and foster a strong safety-first culture
- Drive programme outcomes while maintaining high-quality workmanship
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience delivering VSBA projects valued at $10M+ is highly desirable
- Proven experience as a Site Manager with a commercial head contractor
- Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal teams
- Relevant trade qualifications, licences and safety certifications
- Proficiency in Procore, HammerTech and Microsoft Office
- Excellent planning, organisational and problem-solving skills
- A proactive attitude with a commitment to quality, safety and continuous improvement
