McCosker Contracting is seeking a Software Developer to join our team working in our Brisbane office.
About the role:
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the design, development and maintenance of the internal business systems that support McCosker's operations. The successful candidate will work as part of a team of IT professionals, building and integrating software solutions that improve the efficiency and reliability of technology across the business.
To be successful you will have:
Experience developing web applications using Next.js and React
Experience building back-end services and APIs using Node.js
Experience writing and optimising SQL queries and working with relational databases
Experience using Git for version control
Experience using Docker for building and deploying applications
Excellent understanding of software development principles and best practice
Able to effectively communicate with a range of internal and external stakeholders
The following skills / experience will be highly advantageous:
Experience managing MSSQL databases
Experience integrating with or supporting ERP systems
Experience scripting with PowerShell
Knowledge of the civil construction industry
