Contract: Maximum term of 6 months (not ongoing)
Salary: $40 per hour or $1,520.00 per week gross (based on a standard 38 hour week) plus superannuation
We are currently seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at PVC Fencing Warehouse Pty for a fixed-term role of up to 6 months. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in carpentry and fence building who is looking for temporary work with a reputable company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation of PVC fencing components and gates to specification
- Operate machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently
- Working outdoors and includes digging holes, routering posts and fence assembly
- Ability to build a fence with a high standard - our fences are not just standard fences
- Read and interpret technical drawings and plans
- Work collaboratively with the production team
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
About You:
- Previous experience in carpentry is essential
- Ability to work to deadlines and deliver quality work
- Strong attention to detail and safety focus
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work within a team
- Drug free and agree to random drug testing
