About the Role
This newly created position offers a unique opportunity for an experienced consultant to step into a non‑traditional presales role. As a Senior Business Advisor – Presales, you will be instrumental in expanding our reach and strengthening partner relationships, particularly with Microsoft. You will sit at the centre of deal execution, acting as the primary vision seller for Microsoft D365 Finance & Operations, with Supply Chain Management as a key driver. Responsibilities include:
- Lead the pre‑sales activities for Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management (D365 SCM), including discovery meeting and demonstrations.
- Work closely with the Practice Director, Delivery, and Sales to engage prospects to collaboratively understand their business requirements, challenges, and goals.
- Build and maintain strong, senior‑level relationships with Microsoft by actively participating in joint initiatives (e.g. webinars, events, marketing) and identifying opportunities to collaborate and further support their programs.
- Prepare and deliver compelling D365 SCM‑based solution presentations to clients.
- Work with Marketing on demand‑generation and client update activities.
- Maintain your expertise and stay up to date through investigation of the latest D365 SCM and related Microsoft technology releases and evolving trends.
What You Need to Succeed
As a Senior Business Advisor – Presales, you pride yourself in establishing trusted relationships through collaboration and communication. Additional qualities and skills required to be successful in this role include:
- Several years’ experience in consulting and/or presales, with strong all‑round presentation and demo‑leadership capability.
- Expert knowledge of D365 SCM.
- Strong understanding of business processes in medium and large companies.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and demo‑leadership skills, with an excellent ability to clearly explain complex concepts.
- Confident, approachable, and well‑liked; works well with everyone and is effective at building relationships with customers, Microsoft, and internal teams.
- A collaborative, pragmatic mindset with the flexibility to support wherever presales impact is needed.
