Our MinRes Field Heritage team is expanding, and we are seeking experienced Heritage Field Officers and Senior Heritage Field Officers to join us in permanent roles supporting heritage surveys, field activity programs and compliance requirements across our MinRes operations.
This is an exciting opportunity to build your career in a growing team, work closely with Traditional Owners, and contribute to meaningful heritage management outcomes across projects and operations in the Yilgarn, West Pilbara and Central Pilbara regions.

- Coordinating safe and timely heritage field surveys, compliance activities and consultation requirements.
- Supporting field programme planning, scheduling, logistics, access permits, rosters and travel.
- Building strong relationships with Traditional Owners, native title partners and internal stakeholders.
- Providing field-based heritage management advice
- Supporting safe work practices and ensuring alignment with MinRes safety requirements.
- Reviewing and improving heritage field procedures.
- Working closely with heritage compliance and approvals teams to understand regulatory requirements and constraint
- Tertiary qualifications in archaeology, anthropology, cultural heritage management land management or equivalent or similar / equivalent qualification is desirable.
- Demonstrated Experience in a similar heritage or field technician role, working positively in partnership with Traditional Owners.
- Knowledge of the WA Aboriginal Heritage Act 1972, particularly in relation to heritage compliance, approvals and fieldwork.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to lead a team and communicate confidently and in a cross-cultural context.
- Proficiency in GIS skills including use of ArcGIS and handheld GPS devices
- Current WA drivers’ licence, with ability to safely operate a 4WD or 4WD qualification.
- Current senior first aid skills.
