We are seeking someone who has strong knowledge of the GATE exam format and has ideally prepared students for GATE, scholarship exams, or selective school-style testing before. The tutor must be comfortable teaching all the sections of GATE, with a focus on problem-solving, reading comprehension, writing, quantitative reasoning, abstract reasoning, and exam-style strategies.
The role involves looking after a small classroom of students, explaining concepts clearly, managing the class effectively, and helping students build confidence and exam skills.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience teaching or preparing students for GATE or similar exams
- Is confident teaching both Maths and English
- Understands the skills required for GATE-style questions
- Can manage a classroom and keep students engaged
- Is reliable, organised, and professional
- Can provide clear explanations and helpful feedback to students
