We’re looking to build a strong, reliable team of female Support Workers to support a lovely lady in Leichhardt, NSW returning home from hospital.
This is a rewarding opportunity for experienced Support Workers who are passionate about helping someone work towards their rehabilitation goals and regain confidence and independence.
We’re looking for experienced Support Workers with relevant qualifications and confidence in providing personal care, mobility assistance and implementing therapy and rehabilitation programs. You’ll need to be attentive, patient and proactive, with a strong understanding of the participant’s individual needs. Experience supporting someone with complex or changing needs is highly regarded. You’ll also need to be comfortable preparing vegan meals and taking extra care with meal preparation due to sensitivities to preservatives.
Supports include:
- Personal care and mobility assistance
- Domestic assistance and meal preparation
- Supporting community access and appointments
- Following and implementing therapy and rehabilitation programs
- Providing attentive, patient and encouraging support
Shifts Avaliable:
- Monday 7am-12pm and 4:30pm-6:30pm
- Tuesday 7am-12pm
- Wednesday 7am-12pm and 4:30pm-6:30pm
- Thursday 7am-12pm and 4:30pm-6:30pm
- Fridays 10am-3pm
Possible weekend shifts from 9am - 1pm. Looking for workers that can commit to this role long term.
