If you’re a young person who loves working outdoors, staying active, and creating something solid and lasting, a career in bricklaying could be the perfect fit. We’re looking for a motivated Bricklaying Apprentice ready to learn the trade and join a crew that values hard work, teamwork and a good attitude.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Bricklaying basics — laying bricks, blocks and pavers
- Site preparation — mixing mortar, setting out work areas, assisting trades
- Construction skills — reading plans, measuring, levelling and finishing
- Working on residential and commercial building projects
- Learning from experienced bricklayers who’ll teach you the craft
What You Need
- Car & driver’s licence
- White Card
- A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Good communication and reliability
- Physically fit and ready for hands‑on work
- Previous trade or labouring experience is an advantage, but not essential
