About The Role
The Limestone Coast Local Health Network is seeking an experienced and inspiring Executive Officer / Director of Nursing and Midwifery (RN/M6.3) to provide strategic and operational leadership at Millicent & District Hospital & Health Service including Sheoak Residential Aged Care Facility. This senior role is responsible for nursing and midwifery governance, clinical excellence, workforce leadership, quality and safety, service improvement, and effective management of human, financial and material resources. Working closely with executive, clinical and community stakeholders, the Executive Officer / Director of Nursing and Midwifery will lead innovation, change and service development while fostering a patient-centred, culturally inclusive and positive workplace. To succeed in the Executive Officer / Director of Nursing and Midwifery (RN/M6.3) role, you will:
Bring extensive senior nursing and/or midwifery leadership experience, with demonstrated expertise in strategic and operational management within a complex health service environment.
Hold current registration as a Registered Nurse and/or Midwife with AHPRA, with qualifications and experience appropriate to a senior executive nursing/midwifery leadership position.
Demonstrate strong capability in clinical governance, quality and patient safety, with a proven record of driving continuous improvement and high standards of care.
Have demonstrated experience in workforce, financial and resource management, including leading multidisciplinary teams, managing change and fostering positive workplace cultures.
Demonstrate exceptional communication, relationship-building and leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with executives, clinicians, unions, government and community stakeholders while championing culturally safe, patient-centred care.

Conditions of Employment
A current Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC) for employment involving unsupervised contact with vulnerable groups is required for this position.
