Supernova Medical Centre is a busy, well-established bulk billing clinic in Melbourne, providing comprehensive and accessible healthcare to a diverse patient population. We have a strong GP referral base and a collaborative multidisciplinary team focused on delivering high-quality care.
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Audiologist to join our growing team. You will work closely with our GPs to assess, diagnose, and manage patients with hearing and balance concerns.
This is an excellent opportunity to build a strong patient base within a high-demand clinic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive hearing assessments (adult and paediatric)
- Diagnose hearing and balance disorders
- Hearing aid assessment, fitting, and management
- Provide patient counselling and rehabilitation
- Manage GP referrals and report findings clearly
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Educate patients on hearing health and prevention
Essential Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Audiology
- Accredited with Audiology Australia or ACAud
- Eligible for Medicare/WorkCover services (preferred)
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work independently within a busy clinic
Desirable
- Experience in private practice or medical centre setting
- Confidence working with diverse patient populations
- Experience with modern audiology equipment and software
