About the Role
We are currently seeking reliable and compassionate Domestic Support Workers(Cleaners ) to join our growing team on a Part-Time or Casual basis.
In this role, you will provide practical in-home cleaning and household support services to aged care clients and NDIS participants, helping them maintain a clean, healthy, and welcoming living environment.
Key Duties
Responsibilities may include:
- Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors
- Dusting household furniture and surfaces
- Cleaning kitchens, including benchtops, sinks, stovetops, and appliances
- Sanitising bathrooms, toilets, and shower areas
- Emptying household rubbish and bins
- Changing bed linen and making beds
- Laundry support, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing
- Following infection prevention and workplace safety procedures
- Reporting hazards, concerns, or maintenance issues when identified
- Maintaining client privacy, dignity, and cultural sensitivity
- Delivering services in accordance with CHSP and NDIS requirements
Essential Criteria
To be considered, applicants must have:
- Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain one)
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Reliable and insured vehicle
- Ability to travel between client homes
- Physical ability to perform domestic cleaning duties safely
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to confidentiality and professional conduct
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience in domestic cleaning, home care, aged care, disability support, or similar fields
- Knowledge of infection control and safe work practices
- Current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain
