ABOUT THE ROLE
LOCATION: Bells Creek, Caloundra
Manage and lead the delivery of the logistics operation and export documentation, to ensure delivery of product as sold, whilst maximising profit and ensuring compliance through efficient and cost-effective arrangements.
- Lead and optimise end-to-end supply chain, demand and production planning activities across the site.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve forecast accuracy, inventory performance, service levels and overall supply chain efficiency.
- Partner closely with Sales, Operations, Production and suppliers to ensure materials and finished goods are available when required.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost reduction, inventory optimisation, waste reduction and manufacturing excellence.
- Identify and manage supply chain risks, developing proactive solutions to minimise disruption to production and customer supply.
- Contribute to strategic projects, including the implementation of AI-driven production planning solutions such as the Red Meat Solver.
- Provide high-level analysis and commercial insights to support business decision-making, budgeting, forecasting and product costing.
- Build strong supplier and stakeholder relationships while balancing short-term operational requirements with longer-term strategic objectives.
ABOUT YOU
Experience / Qualifications Required
- 3+ years' experience in Production Planning, Supply Planning or a similar role.
- Demonstrated experience within the FMCG, Food Manufacturing or Meat Industries.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
- Proven ability to work effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced manufacturing environments.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and organisational skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across multiple teams.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong Excel skills preferred.
- A proactive and continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities to improve planning, inventory and supply chain performance.
