About us
At CBA, our goal is to deliver dignity by design. Our Digital Accessibility specialists' partner with design, engineering and product teams to create inclusive digital experiences and embed accessibility throughout delivery—not just at final compliance.
About the role
This six-month role sits within Business Banking Digital and supports the rapid delivery of a new, accessible CommBiz experience for corporate and institutional banking customers.

What will your day look like?
- Review Figma designs to identify and resolve accessibility risks early.
- Define clear, code-ready accessibility requirements for web and app engineers.

- Embed accessible behaviours, patterns and guidance into reusable design-system components.
- Identify the accessibility checks and decisions teams can safely self-serve, and where specialist review remains essential.
Prototype and operationalise AI-assisted and agentic workflows that automate repeatable tasks and improve quality and productivity.
-
What will you bring?
- Demonstrated experience in specialist digital accessibility roles, partnering with design, engineering and business teams.
- Strong knowledge of WCAG 2.2, WAI-ARIA and accessibility requirements across web and native apps.
- Hands-on experience with assistive technologies, accessibility settings and testing tools across Windows, macOS, iPhone and Android.
- The ability to diagnose code-level accessibility issues and provide practical recommendations. HTML and WAI-ARIA expertise is required; React experience is preferred, and iOS SwiftUI and Android Jetpack Compose are strongly preferred.
- Experience embedding accessibility into web and app component design systems.

- Experience translating new tools and processes into clear guidance, communications and enablement that drive adoption.
- The ability to explain accessibility clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Confidence working independently, with a proactive and pragmatic approach to balancing accessibility risk, customer impact, technical constraints and delivery timeframes.
- Experience working in a large, complex organisation is preferred.
