BARISTA / CREPE & GELATO ALL-ROUNDER
Approx. 30 hours per week | Hobart CBD
Something new has come to Kinoko Deli.
We’ve introduced a new Japanese-inspired crepe and house-made gelato concept within our established Hobart café.
Think roasted sesame gelato, miso caramel gelato, yuzu sorbet, freshly made Japanese crepes and consistently good coffee.
Now we’re looking for someone who’d like to be part of it.
This is a hands-on role for someone who genuinely enjoys hospitality — not just making coffee, but getting to know customers, building relationships with regulars and creating the kind of experience that keeps people coming back.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has strong, proven barista skills and can make consistently good coffee
- Is a great multitasker and comfortable working at pace
- Has a positive, can-do attitude
- Naturally connects with customers and enjoys building relationships
- Is reliable, organised and takes pride in the details
- Is happy getting involved in crepe, gelato and general food preparation
- Keeps a clean and organised workspace
- Has an interest in Japanese food and culture
- Is excited about being part of something new
The role is approximately 30 hours per week. Shifts will fall between 7am and 4pm, Monday to Saturday, with some Saturday work required.
