We’re known for our compassionate approach and relentless pursuit of justice. Our expert legal team works closely with top industry specialists to secure maximum compensation for our clients—helping them recover from injury, trauma, or loss with dignity and support.
About the role
We’re looking for an energetic and seasoned Human Resources professional who believes that work should be a place where people thrive — not just a place they go. You understand how meaningful employee experiences shape culture, performance, and long‑term organisational success.
As our trusted advisor for GMP Law, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the employee experience across the full lifecycle. You’ll partner closely with leaders, provide expert guidance on complex people matters, and help drive initiatives that strengthen capability, engagement, and organisational effectiveness.
This is a standalone role for someone who enjoys operating with autonomy, influencing senior stakeholders, and contributing to both strategic and operational people outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
-
Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle processes (onboarding, offboarding, probation, performance reviews)
- Provide timely, accurate HR advice to managers on employee matters, policies and procedures
- Oversee HRIS (Employment Hero) data integrity, reporting and compliance
- Deliver HR reporting
- Manage HR enquiries and act as the first point of contact for the business
- Lead and support the People & Culture activities (eg. organising internal events)
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes, systems and policies
About you
You bring a blend of strategic thinking, strong judgement, and hands‑on HR expertise. You’re confident navigating complexity and enjoy partnering with leaders to create meaningful, sustainable people outcomes.
You will have:
-
Significant experience in a Senior HR Advisor or HR Business Partner role
- Strong capability in employee relations, performance management, and coaching leaders
- Proven ability to influence, challenge constructively, and build trusted relationships
- A proactive, solutions‑focused approach with strong commercial awareness
- Experience supporting organisational change and driving people‑focused initiatives
- A passion for creating positive, inclusive, and engaging employee experiences
- Coming from a Law or Professional Services background is a huge advantage
If you’re ready to step into a role where your expertise shapes culture, capability, and performance, we’d love to hear from you.
