About the opportunity
There is currently one (1) Fixed-Term position for 11 months with the possibility of extension and/or permanency available for immediate filling.
This is not your average Project Officer role. The work will be varied with every day presenting new experiences. This is an exciting opportunity to undertake a range of administration, analysis, reporting and implementation activities. You will be requested to:
Engage stakeholders who are funded by DPIRD to deliver services in regional Western Australia.
Support the delivery and development of the Community Resource Centre Program.
Undertake grant and contract management.
Represent the Department in meetings with stakeholders and provide information and advice on how to meet contract and grant requirements.
Undertake procurement, invoice payments and logistic support.
Travel independently throughout Regional Western Australia, including remote communities.
We are looking for individuals with:
Experience and knowledge in supporting the delivery of community service agreements and grants.
Knowledge of the SmartyGrants grant software.
Knowledge of Not-For-Profit organisations and governance requirements.
A can-do attitude along with the following skills:
Research, and analytical skills with the ability to develop practical and innovative solutions.
Ability to priorities tasks and organise workloads to meet targets and deliverables.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, and the ability to deliver workshop content is highly desirable.
Working autonomously, collaboratively and productively in a small team.
Strong administrative experience.
