This is an SDR role built for someone who has already proven they can build a pipeline, not learn how. You'll walk into a defined middle market patch, an AWS Premier Partner's co-sell engine, and a Marketing function that treats pipeline as a shared outcome and you'll be trusted to run it with minimal oversight from day one.
If you've carried a number in a B2B or SaaS outbound role, know your way around a BANT/ MEDDPICC qualification, and want a seat closer to strategy than script, keep reading.
About DNX
DNX is an AWS Premier Partner delivering cloud, cybersecurity, data and AI, and managed services across Australia. We work with organisations navigating real cloud transformation, not proof-of-concept across Financial Services, Public Sector and Energy. As a Premier Partner, we operate deep in the AWS ecosystem, with the co-sell relationships and technical credibility that come with it.
The Role
You'll own demand generation for a defined book of DNX's middle market accounts, the bridge between Marketing, Sales and our Technical team, and the person whose qualification standard determines the quality of every deal our Account Managers get to work. This is not a lead-logging role. You'll be expected to run your own account strategy, shape messaging with Marketing as a peer, and qualify at a commercial depth AMs can act on immediately.
You'll also help shape how we prospect, refining cadence, messaging, and qualification standards, and mentoring junior SDRs as the team grows.
What You'll Do
- Own and execute account-based prospecting across a tiered middle market patch, mapping full buying committees, multi-threading at least three stakeholders per account, and sequencing outreach around real intent signals rather than cold lists
- Run challenger-style, insight-led outreach across different channels tailored to DNX’s personas, and grounded in the regulatory and commercial context of our industry.
- Qualify opportunities to MEDDPICC/ BANT standard metrics, economic buyer, pain and champion confirmed before anything reaches an Account Manager's calendar
- You will be working with our partners on co-sell motion directly by building relationships with different teams and converting warm partner introductions into pipeline
- Take ownership of post-event conversion for strategic events
- Partner with Marketing on campaign strategy and messaging as a genuine contributor, not just an executor. Your field intelligence shapes what gets built next quarter
- Hand over fully briefed, Deal-Ready opportunities with the first commercial meeting already booked, and maintain immaculate CRM hygiene throughout
- Mentor junior SDRs on qualification discipline, cadence design and multi-threading as the team scales
About You
- 3+ years in a B2B or SaaS outbound/SDR role, with a track record of consistently hitting or exceeding pipeline and meeting-booked targets
- Fluent in a structured qualification methodology (MEDDPICC, BANT, or equivalent) and comfortable applying it, not just in training
- Confident running multi-threaded, committee-level outreach into mid-sized and enterprise-adjacent organisations. You know how to reach a C-level without sounding like everyone else in their inbox
- Strong CRM discipline and comfortable operating with a good degree of autonomy over your own patch. HubSpot experience is highly regarded.
- Cloud, AWS ecosystem or professional services experience is a strong advantage; experience selling services is essential. A genuine commercial curiosity about how IT pain maps to business outcomes is essential and enjoys the idea of shaping processes, not just following it. You'll have real input into how the SDR function operates as it grows
