The Team
A&M continues to expand its Restructuring presence across Australia, and we’re looking to add talented people into our Melbourne office.
We target and work on larger-scale, formal and informal restructuring work with major clients across a range of industries. You’ll be exposed to trading engagements, voluntary administrations, receiverships and restructuring advisory, contributing to impactful mandates that shape outcomes for businesses in transition.
We’re a close-knit group in Melbourne, offering fantastic leadership, mentorship, and collaboration. You’ll be part of a national team that’s not only scaling but also actively building and extending our local presence, with the backing of A&M’s global reach and financial strength.
How You Will Contribute
As part of our national R&T team, your responsibilities will include:
Conducting cash flow reviews and preparing financial models to support turnaround strategies
Developing and implementing restructuring and turnaround plans, including cost reduction and liquidity management programs
Advising on debt restructuring, refinancing, and capital structure optimisation
Liaising with boards, creditors, investors, and management to negotiate and implement restructuring solutions
Managing multiple workstreams and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
To help be successful and enjoy fulfilment in the role, you’ll ideally bring with you the following:
A blend of informal restructuring & turnaround experience and formal insolvency experience
A CA, or equivalent, qualification (or working towards this).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present clearly and confidently
High attention to detail and ability to distil complex data into clear, actionable insights
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including financial modelling and data analysis
A positive and entrepreneurial mindset, with adaptability, collaboration, and a passion to achieve
A true team player, with a genuine interest in contributing to a great team culture
Willingness to travel reasonably as required by client engagements
