Lead Educator (Part-Time/Casual Opportunity)
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Lead Educator to join our team.
This position will initially be one day per week, making it ideal for someone looking for flexible work. There will also be opportunities to pick up additional shifts to cover staff annual leave, personal leave, and other absences as needed.
For the right candidate, there may be potential for increased hours and the possibility of a full-time position in the future as our service continues to grow.
Essential Requirements
- Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care
- Current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications.
- Current Child Protection Training, including completion of the Queensland Child Protection course (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement).
- Sound understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), National Quality Framework (NQF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
- Experience in a Lead Educator role or demonstrated ability to lead a room and mentor educators.
- Strong communication, teamwork and organisational skills.
