In this role you will:
- Support the testing, commissioning and energisation of traction power and high voltage electrical systems across major rail infrastructure projects.
- Perform inspections, functional testing, relay setting verification, primary and secondary injection testing, communications checks and asset readiness activities.
- Support HV switching, isolation, commissioning and integration testing activities in accordance with approved permits, procedures and safety requirements.
- Complete commissioning records, test documentation, defect registers and handover evidence to ensure safe and compliant project delivery.
- Coordinate with engineering, construction, commissioning and customer teams to deliver safe, efficient and customer-focused project outcomes.
- Identify and support the close-out of defects, non-conformances and punch-list items to achieve successful project handover.

- NSW Electrician Licence, HV Operator Training and Certificate III – ESI Power Systems (or equivalent).
- Experience supporting testing and commissioning activities for traction power, HV electrical or rail infrastructure systems.
- Demonstrated knowledge of HV switching, protection testing, relay verification, commissioning processes and network safety rules.
- Current RIW Worker card, White Card and a valid driver's licence, with flexibility to support commissioning windows, night shifts and weekend works.
