About the Role
We're seeking compassionate and reliable Disability Support Workers to join our team supporting a participant in
Quakers Hill. This is a casual ongoing opportunity providing consistent 1:1 support during weekday afternoon shifts. You'll play an important role in supporting the participant to maintain their independence, complete everyday activities, and engage safely within their home and community.
Shifts Available:
- Monday: 2:30pm – 4:30pm
- Tuesday: 2:30pm – 4:30pm
- Wednesday: 2:30pm – 4:30pm
- Friday: 2:30pm – 4:30pm
What You'll Be Doing
- Providing support with domestic assistance and household tasks
- Supporting community access and participation
- Assisting the participant to maintain independence in their daily routine
- Building positive relationships with the participant and their support network
- Working collaboratively with family members and the broader care team
- Providing practical support tailored to the participant’s individual needs
- Following care plans and maintaining accurate documentation
About You
- Experience supporting people with disability or community services
- A caring, patient and reliable approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working in a home-based support environment and alongside family members
- Holds a valid P2 or Open Driver Licence, and access to a reliable insured vehicle
- Holds a current NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check
