About the Opportunity
You will play a crucial role in supporting food entrepreneurs to build thriving businesses and create lasting impact. You will be the central point of contact for our entrepreneurs, graduates and mentors, building genuine relationships while ensuring every workshop, event and program runs seamlessly. This is a hands-on role that blends communication, organisation and problem-solving, offering the chance to make a real difference in people's entrepreneurial journeys.
Responsibilities
This role spans across four key areas:
- Be the primary point of contact for entrepreneurs, graduates and mentors.
- Build strong relationships through regular phone, text and email communication.
- Onboard mentors and connect them with entrepreneurs.
- Manage attendance, registrations, enquiries and program administration.
- Keep our systems, records and data organised and up to date.
- Collect surveys, feedback and impact data that demonstrate our outcomes.
- Use AI tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Coordinate schedules, logistics and the moving parts of each cohort.
- Prepare rooms, equipment and materials for workshops and events.
- Support seamless program delivery from start to finish.
- Stay organised, solve problems and keep everything on track.
- Capture and share inspiring entrepreneur success stories.
- Create simple video and social media content.
- Help showcase FoodLab's impact across digital channels including Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube and TikTok.
- Contribute to growing and celebrating our community.
About You
- A hands-on action-driven person who loves getting things done.
- Comfortable using AI every day to organise, write and work more effectively.
- Highly organised and dependable.
- Warm, empathetic and skilled at building relationships.
- A confident written communicator.
- Curious and quick to learn new technology.
- Comfortable managing a variety of tasks and responsibilities in a dynamic environment.
- Excited by entrepreneurship, food and community impact.
- Respectful, culturally aware and people-focused
- A genuine passion for helping people succeed.
- Experience using, or enthusiasm for learning AI-powered tools such as Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT and Codex.
- Strong writing, content creation or video editing skills.
