Youth Disability Support Worker
We are seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our team to support a young participant with ASD
This role is ideal for someone who is dependable, empathetic, and committed to promoting independence and quality of life. Reliability and consistency are essential.
Mid-week evening shift (Thursday 4.30pm-7.30pm) and occasional Saturdays.
About the role:
- To support the participant in home and out in the community.
- To undertake the tasks detailed in the participants’ Care Plan using a person-centered approach and in the least intrusive way
- To maintain good communication and develop effective working relationships with participants
Job Details:
- Qualification Requirement: Cert 3 in Disability / Individual Support
- Minimum 1 year experience support children is essential.
- Required Licenses/Certifications: Full Driving Licence, Working with Children Check, NDIS Workers Screening, Police Check, First Aid and CPR
- Work Authorization: Australia (Required)
