Nexus Division is seeking an experienced Freelance Accountant to support our growing operations across consulting, technology, labour hire, and project-based services.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review financial reports and management accounts
- Assist with BAS, GST, payroll, and taxation requirements
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow management
- Maintain compliance with Australian accounting standards and regulations
- Liaise with management regarding financial performance and reporting requirements
- Support end-of-year financial preparation and accountant liaison activities
Skills & Experience
- Relevant accounting qualification or equivalent experience
- Experience with Australian accounting and taxation requirements
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Experience with accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, or similar
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Highly Regarded
- Experience working with consulting, professional services, labour hire, construction, infrastructure, or technology businesses.
