Description:
Sitting in our Governance and Company Secretariat team and reporting to the Deputy Company Secretary, the Board Coordinator supports the effective operation of our Board and Committee governance processes. This position is responsible for providing administrative support to the Governance and Company Secretariat team, Board of Directors, and the Chief Legal Officer & Company Secretary. As the central point of coordination, you will help ensure Board and Committee meetings are well organised, papers are distributed on time, Board travel, catering, Director expenses and offsite events.
This is a varied role that blends governance administration, stakeholder coordination, executive assistance and continuous process improvement with direct exposure to the Board of Directors.
Skills and Experiences:
To be successful in this role and business, you will bring experience in a governance, board support, executive assistant, company secretariat or similar administrative role, along with exposure to supporting senior leaders, executives or boards, ideally within a regulated or corporate environment.
You will possess strong stakeholder management skills, enabling you to build effective relationships across all levels of the organisation, supported by excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will be highly organised, with exceptional planning, coordination and prioritisation capabilities, and the ability to manage multiple competing deadlines.
