We are seeking an exceptional leader to join our Wholesale Banking Leadership Team as Head of Food & Agribusiness (F&A) Client Coverage, Australia & New Zealand (RANZ).
In this key role, you will lead a high-performing team responsible for managing and growing relationships with some of the largest and most complex food and agribusiness clients across Australia and New Zealand. You will drive client strategy, business growth, cross-functional collaboration and sustainable commercial outcomes while contributing to Rabobank's mission of enabling clients' transition toward a more sustainable future.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Group Executive, Wholesale Banking RANZ, you will lead a team of Coverage Bankers across Australia and New Zealand and play a key role in shaping and executing the Wholesale Banking strategy for the region.
You will:

Lead, coach and develop a team of experienced Coverage Bankers and emerging talent.

Drive strategic client engagement, deal origination and portfolio growth across the F&A sector.

Oversee key customer relationships and enhance Rabobank's value proposition through a client-centric approach.

Champion cross-sell opportunities across lending, sustainable finance, structured working capital, treasury risk management and asset finance solutions.

Work closely with senior stakeholders across Wholesale Banking, Risk, Legal, Compliance and Product teams locally and globally.

Support clients on their sustainability journeys and contribute to Rabobank's carbon-neutral and nature-positive ambitions.

Maintain strong oversight of portfolio performance, risk management, credit quality and regulatory compliance.

Represent Wholesale Banking internally and externally as a trusted industry leader and ambassador for Rabobank.
You are an accomplished banking leader with deep expertise in corporate and institutional banking, a passion for food and agribusiness, and a proven ability to build high-performing teams.
You will bring:
Experience

15–20+ years' experience in Corporate & Institutional Banking, leveraged finance or a related field.

Significant leadership experience managing high-performing teams.

Strong background in relationship management, credit analysis and complex transaction execution.

Demonstrated success developing and implementing strategic business initiatives.
Qualifications

Degree in Finance, Economics, Agriculture or a related discipline.

Postgraduate qualifications (Honours or Masters) are highly regarded.

Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking.

Deep understanding of corporate lending, credit processes and portfolio management.
