About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Truck Delivery Driver to join our team delivering building supplies to residential and commercial construction sites across Melbourne.
This is a hands-on role that combines safe driving with excellent customer service. You will be responsible for ensuring deliveries are completed safely, accurately, and on time while representing our business professionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver building materials to customers throughout metropolitan Melbourne.
- Safely load, secure, transport, and unload building supplies.
- Conduct pre-start vehicle inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and in accordance with delivery schedules.
- Complete delivery paperwork and use electronic delivery systems as required.
- Communicate effectively with customers, warehouse staff, and dispatch.
- Follow all road safety regulations and workplace health and safety procedures.
- Assist in the warehouse with loading and general duties when required.
Skills & Experience
Essential:
- Current Medium Rigid (MR) Driver Licence.
- Clean driving record.
- Experience driving MR trucks.
- Good knowledge of Melbourne roads and suburbs.
- Strong commitment to safety and safe manual handling practices.
- Ability to lift and handle building materials.
- Reliable, punctual, and well presented.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules.
