About the Educator Role
CRCS is seeking passionate and dedicated Educators to join the team at Budawang Early Learning Centre located in Milton NSW, near Ulladulla. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a supportive and collaborative environment where you will help shape children’s early learning experiences through play-based, engaging, and nurturing programs.
Budawang is a small, 35-place service, offering a close-knit and community-focused environment where relationships truly matter. Our team is dynamic, dedicated and genuinely passionate about the work they do with children and families. It’s a centre where educators can make a real impact every day and feel deeply connected to the community they serve.
We’re growing our team and have multiple opportunities available! We welcome Certificate III, Diploma-qualified, and traineeship applicants, with flexible casual, part-time, and full-time roles available.
To be successful in this role you will need to have:
The ability to engage children in meaningful activities that are responsive to their interests, strengths, and developmental needs
Strong relationship-building skills with children, fostering trust and a sense of belonging
Effective communication skills to interact with children, families, colleagues, and stakeholders
An understanding of children’s rights and a commitment to upholding them in practice
Awareness of mandatory reporting obligations and child safety responsibilities
The ability to follow direction, show initiative, and contribute at all levels within a team
Desirable Skills:
Currently studying or have attained a Certificate III, Diploma, or higher qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care
Current First Aid, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis training
Food Safety, Handling, and Hygiene certification
Knowledge of the Education and Care Services National Law, Regulations, and National Quality Standards
Understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
Responsibilities:
Uphold professional and ethical standards, demonstrating accountability, initiative, and effective time management
Contribute to a positive and collaborative team culture through respectful communication and inclusive practices
Work in alignment with organisational policies, procedures, and National Quality Standards
Plan and implement engaging educational programs that support children’s learning, development, and participation
Maintain accurate and meaningful documentation of children’s learning and progress
Ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of all children through active supervision and safe practices
Create and maintain safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environments
Build strong, respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues
Participate in ongoing professional development and continuous improvement initiatives
CRCS also requires all employees to:
- Hold or be willing to obtain a satisfactory Working with Vulnerable People registration (ACT) and/or a Working with Children Check (NSW), and have these with them at all times whilst employed by CRCS.
- Undertake a National Criminal History Clearance by CRCS prior to commencing and every three years thereafter as a condition of employment. Employees are required to advise CRCS of any convictions that may effect their eligibility to work or perform the inherent requirements of their position
CRCS has zero tolerance for child abuse and are committed to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all young children and young people. As part of our commitment to child safeguarding, all employees are required to comply with our child safe policies and mandatory reporting requirements.
Applicants will be required to demonstrate their commitment to child safety and undergo rigorous screening processes, including Working with Children Check (WWCC) and/or Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) checks.
