About the role
We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at Comuna Newstead. As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our vibrant restaurants, ensuring exceptional customer service and a seamless dining experience for our guests. This is a full-time role based in our Newstead location.

What you'll be doing
Manage and lead a team of service staff to deliver outstanding customer service
Oversee all restaurant operations, including inventory management, staff scheduling, and financial reporting
Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue, increase customer satisfaction, and optimise operational efficiency
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, providing coaching and mentorship to your team
Hiring, developing and managing the venue team
Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and licensing regulations
Actively participate in local store marketing and promotional activities to enhance the restaurant's profile
Liaise with the kitchen team to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
What we're looking for
Minimum 1 year of experience as Restaurant Manager or Venue Manager
Proven track record of leading and motivating a team to deliver exceptional customer service
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, staff, and stakeholders
Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, with the ability to work under pressure
Proficient in financial management, including budgeting, cost control, and inventory management
Working knowledge of relevant health, safety, and licensing regulations in the hospitality industry
Passionate about the hospitality industry and committed to providing a memorable dining experience
