Health Manager Level 2, starting salary from $118,821 - $140,201 per annum plus Super and annual leave loading, with a 38-hour work week, work location- 1 Reserve Road, St Leonards

What you will be doing
- Provide the team with forecasting, budget development, cost centre management, oversight for assigned General Ledger (GL) Accounts, Financial Reports and provision of financial expertise
- Implement and maintaining financial services including, ordering, receipt of goods, invoicing, budget adjustments, cost centre management, financial analysis, preparation of business cases and reviewing GL for accuracy in line with finance and branch timetables
- Review ledger to determine accruals for expenditure/revenue monthly and ensure journals for Intra Health are processed in accordance with guidelines
- Provide training and education to managers regarding the use of financial systems, financial reporting and interpretation of financial data
- Compliance with requirements of the Account and Audit Determination, Accounting Manual and other NSW Ministry of Health directives as they apply to internal reporting.
About you
We are seeking motivated and committed individuals who can support the work of NSW Health with:
- Tertiary qualifications in accounting, commerce, finance or related discipline and/or eligibility for membership in a recognised professional accounting body supported by demonstrated experience in a similar role within a diverse government or commercial environment
- The skills to create sustainable reporting and monitoring systems to provide accurate, timely management support
- Demonstrated experience in reporting, budgeting, planning, forecasting and evaluation at strategic and service levels
- Demonstrated extensive experience and proficiency in using financial management systems as well as advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications.
