Due to our continued growth, we are looking for experienced Wall and Floor Tilers to join our enthusiastic team.
Qualifications & experience
- Cert III in wall and floor tiling with minimum 2 years hands-on experience in Australia
- Good presentation and excellent customer / client communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Comfortable working to meet client expectations and high quality standards
- It is preferred applicants have their own tools and reliable transportation is a must.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Tiling to residential and commercial wet areas and main floors.
- Patch repair render to walls and screed floors with pre-mixed sand and cement.
- Build bath hobs and nib walls when required.
- Waterproofing of wet areas to Australian standards.
- Installation of rectified tiles to a high a standard and reasonable pace.
- Proven experience as a tiler.
- Knowledge of various tiling techniques, materials, and tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and precision.
- Physical stamina to work in various conditions and handle heavy materials.
- Grouting of tiled areas to a high standard leaving tiled area clean and free of dust.
- Keep work site clean and tidy.
