The role
Join the vibrant team at Boatshed Brew' as a Barista/Allrounder. In this casual position, you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service and high-quality barista skills to patrons in our beautiful waterfront café located in Oxenford, Queensland.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including espresso-based coffees, teas, and specialty drinks
- Operate and maintain coffee equipment to ensure consistency
- Provide friendly and knowledgeable customer service
- Assist with general café duties, such as food preparation, table servicing, and cash handling
- Contribute to a positive work environment and team dynamic
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards
What we're looking for
- Previous experience as a barista
- Minimum 2 years of barista experience required
- Barista experience is essential - candidates with only customer service experience cannot apply
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for making and serving high-quality coffee and other beverages
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
