Casual/Part Time Coaching Position - Confident Football/Soccer Coach – Inspire and Develop Players Aged 2–18 | Part-Time | LTFA
Are you experienced in football coaching? Are you passionate about developing young footballers and helping children grow in confidence both on and off the pitch? Do you have the leadership and coaching ability to run engaging, structured training sessions independently?
LTFA is looking for a confident, independent and reliable football coach to work with players aged anywhere from 2–18 years old, helping them develop technical skills, game understanding, and a lifelong love of football in a positive and supportive environment.

HOURS
- We are after a coach that is able to do casual hours.
- In addition to the casual hours, should you show promise, we can offer more hours of work on a more consistent basis.
HOURLY SALARY
Qualification and experience dependent
$35 – $56 per hour (including superannuation)
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and deliver engaging football training sessions for players aged 5–18
- Coach independently while maintaining LTFA coaching standards
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and disciplined learning environment
- Support the technical, physical, and personal development of players
- Communicate professionally with parents and LTFA staff
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be 18+
- Must have adequate experience to run sessions independently, being adaptable
- Valid Working With Children Check
- Reliable transportation
- Confident leading groups independently
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Football coaching experience (academy, grassroots, or school programs)
- Playing experience in organized football
- Coaching qualifications (FA/AFC C Licence or working toward one)
- Experience working with children aged 5–18
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The candidate must be able to:
- Run, demonstrate drills, and actively participate in training sessions
- Stand and move for extended periods with consistently high energy
- Set up and pack down equipment independently
