IMS Manager – Quality Assurance
About the role
The purpose of the role is to manage, maintain, and continually improve Ambassador Property Services’ Integrated Management System to ensure quality, safety, environmental, and compliance standards are fully maintained and never compromised.
The successful applicant will support the business across commercial cleaning, security, building maintenance, and NDIS home modification services by ensuring compliance with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, and relevant NDIS requirements.
This role is responsible for maintaining accreditation standards, supporting internal and external audits, reviewing policies and procedures, improving operational compliance, and working closely with management and service teams to promote a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
What you’ll be doing
- Maintain, implement, and continually improve the Integrated Management System in line with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, and relevant NDIS requirements.
- Develop, review, and update policies, manuals, procedures, forms, risk assessments, and compliance documentation.
- Conduct internal audits, site inspections, compliance reviews, and process checks across commercial cleaning, security, building maintenance, and NDIS-related services.
- Support external audits, accreditation reviews, client compliance requests, and corrective action processes.
- Identify non-conformances, raise corrective actions, and assist with the effective implementation of corrective and preventative action programs.
- Work with managers, supervisors, and operational teams to identify areas for improvement and recommend practical quality, safety, and compliance controls.
- Coordinate and support employee training relating to ISO standards, workplace health and safety, environmental requirements, quality assurance, and NDIS compliance.
- Monitor and review procedures for the handling, storage, use, and delivery of materials used in cleaning and maintenance services to ensure compliance with Australian regulations and environmental standards.
- Maintain systems for client complaints, incident reporting, non-conformance management, corrective actions, and continuous improvement.
- Assist in driving continuous improvement across IMS processes, operational systems, and associated compliance workstreams.
What we’re looking for
- Experience working with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 management systems.
- Prior experience in a Quality Assurance, Compliance, IMS, WHS, or Internal Auditing role.
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning, building services, facilities management, security, or maintenance operations.
- Familiarity with NDIS compliance requirements, particularly relating to home modifications, is highly regarded.
- Strong understanding of quality assurance, risk management, compliance, auditing, and document control.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with management, supervisors, and operational teams.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate compliance records.
Desirable qualifications
- Certificate or Diploma in Leadership and Management.
- Qualification in Quality Assurance, Compliance, WHS, Environmental Management, or Internal Auditing.
- Internal Auditor training in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or ISO 45001.
