Rigging Technician – Casual Shutdown Work
We are currently seeking a Trade Assistant to support our team during regular shutdowns that currently occur every 4 weeks, typically running for 3–5 days.
This is a practical, hands-on role working with mechanical equipment in an industrial environment.

About the role
You will carry out rigging and associated mechanical tasks during shutdowns, supporting the team to complete work safely and efficiently.
This role suits someone with practical rigging experience who enjoys physical, hands-on work and can operate confidently in busy industrial environments.
What we’re looking for
- Rigging experience or basic rigging skills are required
- Previous experience in workshops, construction, or mine sites
- Basic understanding of mechanical equipment and tooling
- Good awareness of site safety, PPE requirements, and dropped-object hazards
- Reliable, team-focused, and able to work calmly under pressure
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
