il Porcellino Family Bistro & Catering is a busy, family-owned restaurant located within the Gold Coast Sports Hub. We pride ourselves on serving quality Italian and bistro-style meals, while also catering for functions, corporate events and special occasions.
We're looking for a reliable, motivated Cook who takes pride in their work and thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
About the Role
You will be involved in:
Preparing and cooking Italian and bistro-style dishes
Food preparation and service
Assisting with functions and catering
Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient kitchen
Working closely with our team to deliver consistently high-quality meals
Essential Requirements
Minimum 2 years' experience in a commercial kitchen
Previous experience in a bistro, pub or high-volume restaurant
Confidence preparing Italian and bistro-style cuisine
Experience working across pizza, grill, fryer and pasta stations will be highly regarded
Strong knife skills and food preparation techniques
Queensland Food Safety Certificate
Ability to remain calm and organised during busy service
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Availability to work evenings, weekends and functions
